In cases where hot water cannot be produced with waste flue gas heat, the most rational application is in the form of preheating the burner combustion air and using the waste heat in the flue gas.
Especially since there is usually no water to be preheated in hot oil boilers and the oil temperature is too high, the most correct method is to heat the combustion air needed by burner.
Recuperators are usually of tubular type and should be designed with the counter current and heat transfer optimization in the system in mind carefully.
Especially in case of space problems in existing systems, special designs can be made and customer demands can be met with horizontal, vertical or combined designs.
ENEVA has many successful reference applications on recuperator products.
